How it started…

When we met almost 12 years ago, we quickly bonded over our desire to live abroad. We fell in love with Europe during a two-week trip to London and Paris in 2015 to celebrate our first year of marriage. From then on, we were determined to find a way to make this dream a reality.

Fast forward to 2024 and the American presidential election. To say it was devastating doesn’t quite communicate the total and profound sense of betrayal we felt from our fellow Americans. Personally, We felt we had a new understanding of what Americans want for the country – and it’s clear that we do not share those ideals.

We knew quickly within a few weeks of the Trump administration in power, that things were getting seriously dangerous in the US and that to protect our family, we had to start making serious moves. It has become much more dire. With the deregulation of so much industry, the citizenry is suffering – even dying… but no one is standing up to stop them.

We know there’s a better way of life. We’ve seen it. We’ve felt it. And we’re going to make it ours.
